WHO IS MORRIS TOMORROW?

Morris Tomorrow is a group of citizens from all walks of life, representing government, business and the community-at-large. This broad-based community organization identifies regional issues and builds consensus to effectively improve the quality of life in Morris County.  For over 20 years, Morris Tomorrow has taken action to address some of the critical issues that face our county.

Founded as Morris 2000 in 1984 by citizens from the business, government and civic sectors, Morris Tomorrow is a private, not-for-profit education and planning organization.  It is one of a handful of civic organizations in New Jersey that work for balanced constructive growth and are able to bridge the strong competing environmental and business interests in the state.

These organizations have no jurisdiction, no taxing power and are not part of any permit approval process. Rather their influence and impact comes about as a result of their credibility and objectivity in trying to strengthen the civic fabric, their efforts to engage citizens in making decisions on public policy issues, and their tactical and strategic approach to getting the good ideas implemented.
