MISSION

The mission of Morris Tomorrow is to improve the quality of life in Morris County. We are guided by the following principles:

• to focus attention on issues of regional significance
• to foster public discussion
• to facilitate consensus towards viable solutions
• to serve as a catalyst for implementation

The mission is accomplished with the help of thirty Trustees, with representation carefully balanced among the business, government, and civic sectors, the Midday Morris Steering Committee, the Ten Towns Great Swamp Committee, various volunteers, two full-time and one part-time employee.

Revenues are raised by direct appeal to area corporations and businesses, organizations, individuals, the County of Morris and by an annual fundraiser called the Lunar Classic.

Funding is used to maintain the office, coordinate projects, hold several annual conferences, sponsor internships and mini-grants, perform research on public policy controversies, and work as a catalyst on various visioning and balanced growth initiatives.
