ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Since the inception of the Building Cross Cultural Communities committee in 2004 we have accomplished the following:

*     2004 Students Talking to Parents Conference (Mayor Elect Corey Booker – keynote speaker)

*     2005 Conference with Search Institute (James Vollbracht – keynote speaker)

*     2004-2005 Implemented Student Travel teams, taking students from area high schools to visit other schools in the Morris County area.

*     2006 Students Talking to Students Conference-Feb 8, 2006 (Mariana Vergara – Executive Director of Parent Information & Resource Center - Keynote speaker)

*     2006 Conference for School Advisors

*     2007-2008 Implemented Mix it Up program for high schools in the Morris County area
